Given the extra demand caused by winter illnesses, we will run evening clinics till 6pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, in the weeks commencing December 7th, 14th and 21st. These clinics will continue in January and February.
This is with a view to reducing demand on other services such as DubDoc and hospital emergency departments.
These clinics are reserved for patients with acute illnesses. We we be unable to accommodate patients with ongoing issues at these evening clinics, and in these cases please book a routine appointment as usual.
There is an increasing number of viral illnesses circulating in the community at this time, including RSV and influenza.
RSV can cause significant illness in babies and we encourage all parents of newborns to avail of the RSV vaccine through the HSE.
Covid vaccine boosters are still available in the practice to all patients.
Free nasal flu vaccines are available in the surgery to all children aged 2-17.
Free flu vaccine injections are available to those aged 18 and above who meet the HSE’s criteria listed below. If you do not fit into this list, you can still get a vaccine in the clinic, though a small fee will apply. Please contact reception for further details.

These changes are needed in the context of increased staff costs and ongoing improvement of our clinic, much of which has been refurbished this year, with further works planned for 2026.
Our phone system requires an upgrade and as such our phone system will be down from approximately 9.30am to 12pm, on Monday March 3rd. We will have one incoming phone line only and we anticipate delays in answering calls. We will retain access to our email accounts.
We thank you for your patience during this brief period of disruption.
